Happy Halloween! Up until a week ago or so, I thought all I was going to do this Halloween was just to greet all the kids at the door and give out candy. My neighborhood seems to get allot of kids coming in for Halloween. Many of them must drive in from other areas, but it is good seeing all the costumes. So, it was just about a week ago that one of my friends invited me to a Halloween party to be held on October 31st. It was over at one of his coworker's homes. The good news was that the house ended up being only a few blocks from where I live so it worked out great. Since I was not thinking about parties this year at all, I did not know what to do about a costume. Sure I could go just in my regular clothes, but it's a Halloween party, so why not have fun? I asked a few of my friends for any last minute costume ideas and got more than I asked for. Most of the ideas were okay, but some of them were just boring....like "just wear a brown paper bag, cut holes for your eyes..." One of my friends said he had a costume he made himself for the year before that he was not using this year. Now, I know this guy is very creative, so I asked about it. He told me it was a costume of the "Noid" which I have never heard of. As I found out more, the Noid was a marketing icon here in the US for a major pizza company for many years. The Noid appeared in all their ads and commercials. The Noid is kind of a super hero that ruins pizzas. He is dressed in all red, from head to toe. My friend told me that he made the costume out of lycra and that it did cover from head to toe. Well, I am into lycra, but have never worn anything like a body suit before, but willing to give it a try. All I can say is wow! This costume was all lycra spandex, going from my toes all the way to my head. Tight and smooth all the way. There was a big N on the chest, for the Noid. It was a great costume and very comfortable. It did show all the curves and lines on my body. I got comments from a bunch of people at the party. All were positive. Some were from guys and some were from women. Everyone really liked the costume. I did get a few "very close" hugs from some people during the night. Another great costume at the party was someone came dressed up as a Cambells soup can, just life size. Looked great. Over all, the party was allot of fun and the lycra costume was great. Hope you all had a good Halloween... Mike
